1) First, having a great home business that is automated, has a spectacular sales presentation, and pays out high commissions. This is important because it is not easy to make sales, so make sure that you join a business that pays a lot for each sale/signup. Do your research thoroughly!

2) A steady flow of high-quality leads is the lifeblood of every home business. At first it is difficult to generate your own, so I recommend partnering with a marketing agency that can get leads FOR you. My personal favorite sources of leads are:
